Temarizushi (ball sushi) is a ball-shaped sushi made by pressing rice and fish into a ball-shaped form by hand using a plastic wrap. It is quite easy to make and it's a good starting point for sushi beginners.
Ingredients- 1 cup of Japanese rice - 2 eggs - 1 tablespoon Sushi vinegar powder - 1/2 teaspoon of salt - 1 teaspoon of sugar - 1 teaspoon of fish soup stock powder |
Mix the eggs in a bowl. Put the sugar, salt, fish soup stock powder |
Warm some oil in a pan. |
Cook egg. Make hard scramble eggs. |
Bring the cooked rice and add 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar powder and mix. Prepare the plastic wrap on a flat surface. |
Put 1 tbs of scrumble eggs on the plastic wrap.Wet your fingers with water, so the rice won't attach to your fingers. Take a small ball of rice and add it on the top of the eggs. |
Wrap it straight and make it ball shape. Press it a bit with your fingers. Open the plastic wrap. |
Serve cold. |
