Ingredients- 3 chicken drumsticks and 1 chicken thigh (you can mix other pieces of chicken, if you have an entire chicken even better, cut it in 6-8 pieces) - 1 onion - 3 carrots - 2 stalks of celery - 2 garlic cloves - bay leaves - parsley |
Pour 2l of cold water in a big pot and place the chicken in it, start to warm it up at low heat. Clean and peel onion, carrots and garlic cloves. |
Add the onion cut in half, the carrots , the celery, the garlic cloves and the bay leaves in the pot. |
Add parsley leaves and cover the pot. Cook for 2 hours, stirring from time to time. |
Strain the vegetables and the chicken saving the broth. |
