Ingredients- 500g of polenta flour (yellow corn flour) - 2lt of water - 1 tablespoon of salt
Also needed a pot with a thick bottom

Weigh the polenta flour. Put 500ml of water in a pot and heat it. Add salt. |
Just before the water starts to boil (just when you start to see the bubbles forming at the bottom of the pot), add the polenta flour and stir constantly with a whisk. |
Continue to stir for about 10 min until the flour gradually absorbes the water. |
Cover the pot and let the polenta cook for 45-50 min, occassionally stirring it with a wooden spoon. The cooking time depends on the kind and thickness of your flour. |
Serve hot. |
