Simple Grilled Brussels Sprouts

A quick and tasty way to prepare Brussels sprouts.

- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts

- butter, light olive oil or coconut oil

- cast iron pan

- salt and pepper

Cut the brussels sprouts in half. Heat the pan on medium. Add butter, coconut oil, or light olive oil.

Put the sprouts, cut side down, into the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes covered.

Check to see if the cut side is lightly browned, then flip them over and cook on the other side for another 5 - 10 minutes until soft.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Eat alone or with your favorite meal! Serve warm.
