A quick and tasty way to prepare Brussels sprouts.

Ingredients- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts - butter, light olive oil or coconut oil - cast iron pan - salt and pepper |
Cut the brussels sprouts in half. Heat the pan on medium. Add butter, coconut oil, or light olive oil. |
Put the sprouts, cut side down, into the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes covered. |
Check to see if the cut side is lightly browned, then flip them over and cook on the other side for another 5 - 10 minutes until soft. |
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Eat alone or with your favorite meal! Serve warm. |
