Ingredients- 800g (2lb) of brussel sprouts - hand full of dried cranberry - 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar - olive oil - salt and pepper - olive oil - glass of water |
Wash the brussel sprouts and cut them in half or quarters. In a pan warm up 2 tablespoons of olive oil. |
Add the brussel sprouts and gently stir from time to time to get them lightly grilled. Add half glass of water. |
Cover the pan and let them cook for 5 minutes covered. If needed add more water. Once the brussel sprouts are soft but still crunchy open the pan and let the remaining water evaporate. |
Add half cup of balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste |
and the cranberries. Stir gently until the sauce is incorporated. Serve warm. |
