Ingredients- 1 sheet puff pastry (If you have it frozen leave it outside the freezer for at least 30min) - 4 slices provolone/mozzarella cheese - 4 slices ham - 1/2 cup tomato sauce - black olives/anchovies - oregano - 1 egg |
Preheat the oven at 180C (350F). Make flat the puff pastry. Cut it in 4 little squares. Add one slice of cheese and the ham on top. |
Add 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce, the olives and a pinch of oregano. |
Fold the puff pastry in half, making a triangle and siling very good the borders. You can also fold the turnover in different ways, like an envelope for example, just remeber to close very well the borders! Beat an egg and brush the turnover. |
Cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the turnovers are gently brown. Serve warm. |
