IngredientsDough:- 350g of flour - 1 tablespoon baking powder - 200g of butter - 4 egg yolks - 50g of sugar Filling:- 4 tablespoons jam - 100g chocolate chips - 4 egg whites - 75g of sugar - 80g of instant vanilla pudding |
Put 350g of flour in a bowl, add baking powder, add cold butter sliced and mix until they form fine crumbs. |
Add 50g of sugar and 4 egg yolks and mix with your hands. Keep the egg-whites for later. |
Make a ball with the dough. Divide it in 2/3 and 1/3. Put the big ball in the refrigerator and the small ball in the freezer for at least 30 min. |
In the meanwhile beat 4 egg-whites with a mixer. When they become a foamy cream, add 75g ofsugar spoon by spoon, mixing again after every spoon. |
Add 80g of instant vanilla pudding by spoon constantly mixing. Butter the bottom and sides of a cake pan. |
Take out the big ball of dough from the refrigerator and roll it out flat with a rolling pin. Put it in the cake pan, making a small border (2cm). |
Spread the jam over the dough. Add the chocolate chips. Add the egg-whites mixture. |
Spread the egg-whites mixture over the cake. Take the small ball dough out of the freezer. With a grater spread the dought allover the cake. |
Cook in the oven 180°C (360F) for about 40 min. Wait that the top part of the cake settle down before removing from the pan. |
Serve a bit warm or cold. |
