- some almonds to decorate - 50g of dark chocolate to decorate |
Use a food processor to grind the almond really well. |
In a bowl put the flour and the soft butter. |
Mix with a mixer. Add the almond mixture. |
Add the zest of half orange. Weigh the honey (if your honey is too dense you can gently warm it up in the microwave). |
Add the honey, the egg and a teaspoon of Marsala wine. |
Mix with a fork first and then with your hands until you form a ball. |
Wrap the ball and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30min. |
Make half of the dough flat with a rolling pin. With a biscuits shape cutter make the bisuits. Place them in a oven tray over a baking paper sheet. Cut the almonds in half and add one on top of each biscuit. |
Make flat the second half of the dough. Cut out some smaller biscuits. |
Place them in a oven tray over a baking paper sheet. Cook in the oven for 15 min at 180°C (350F). |
Let them cool at room temperature. The big ones are ready to be served. |
Decoreate the small ones. Melt the dark chocolate in a pot. |
With a spoon cover half of the biscuit with the chocolate. Place them on a baking paper and let them cool for an hour. Store the biscuits in a tupperware. Serve Cold. |
